Yogurt helps in moisturizing and brightening the skin while the vitamin C and antioxidants in the tomatoes promote the growth of collagen.

How to make it and use it:

  • Peel the skin of the tomatoes and blend it with 2 tablespoons of yogurt till a fine paste is formed.
  • Apply it to your tanned skin and leave it on for 30 minutes.
  • Then wash it off with water.

Fact: Ultraviolet radiation from the sun and artificial sources from tanning beds are known to be cancer-causing.

Oatmeal and buttermilk

The buttermilk contains lactic acid that softens the skin while the oatmeal cleanses and exfoliates.

How to make it and use it:

  • Soak 2-3 teaspoons of oats in 1/2 cup of water for 5-10 minutes.
  • Further, add 3 teaspoons of buttermilk and blend it to form a paste
  • Use this paste on your tanned skin and leave it on for 30 minutes.
