A naturally sweet and wholesome chilla made with ragi flour, banana, sesame seeds, curd, cardamom, and ghee. It is a simple breakfast or snack that combines whole-grain goodness with healthy fats and the natural sweetness of banana.

▪️½ cup ragi flour
▪️1 ripe banana, mashed
▪️2 tbsp curd
▪️1 tsp sesame seeds
▪️¼ tsp cardamom powder
▪️½–¾ cup water
▪️1 tsp ghee
▪️A pinch of salt

Add mashed banana, ragi flour, curd, cardamom powder, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt to a bowl. Mix well.
Gradually add water and whisk until you get a smooth, pourable batter.

Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes. Add a little more water if it becomes too thick.

Heat a non-stick or well-seasoned pan over medium heat. Lightly grease it with a little ghee.

Pour a small ladleful of batter onto the pan and gently spread it into a thin or medium-thick circle.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom turns golden and the edges begin to crisp.

Carefully flip the chilla and cook the other side for another 1–2 minutes. Add a little ghee around the edges if needed.
Serve the chilla warm. You can enjoy it on its own or with a side of fresh curd.
