Priyanka’s Experience with Scanty Periods and No Diagnosis

Struggling with scanty periods, acne, and hair fall, Priyanka couldn’t find clear answers in reports.
Her experience highlights common light periods reasons and the role of natural treatment for irregular periods.

Amrutam Sadasya was started with one simple intention - to listen to real stories. Not just the ones with clear diagnoses or dramatic turning points, but also the quieter ones. The ones where reports say “normal,” but the body tells a different story.

Priyanka Jain is 31, living in Vijayawada. For the last two years, she had been noticing a shift in her body that she couldn’t quite explain, but definitely couldn’t ignore.

Why do Periods become Scanty suddenly?

Her periods had gradually become scanty. Just two days of bleeding, and even then, very minimal.

“It wasn’t like this before. Earlier it was normal,” she shared.

That’s what made it confusing. There was no long history of issues, no diagnosis. Just a shift that didn’t have a clear reason behind it.

So she did what most people would do. She went to a doctor, got tests done, and waited for clarity. But the response she received was simple: everything is fine. She was prescribed multivitamins and told that maybe this is just how her body is or that things could be looked into later, after marriage or pregnancy.

And this is where something deeper comes in. Many women are told to wait  for marriage, for pregnancy, for a “later stage”. As if their period health only becomes important when it connects to fertility. But a woman’s cycle isn’t just about that. It reflects her everyday health, energy, and hormonal balance.

And this is where many women find themselves stuck, when the reports say “normal,” but the experience doesn’t match that word.

In many cases, scanty periods causes and treatment are not always straightforward. Light periods reasons can range from lifestyle shifts to underlying hormonal imbalances that don’t always show clearly in tests.

Symptoms of Hormonal Imbalance beyond Periods

Along with the reduced flow, Priyanka began noticing other changes in her body. Her skin started breaking out more often, her hair fall increased significantly, and she even noticed slight facial hair.

“There was irritation… sometimes anxiety… I used to feel low,” she said.

The hair fall, in particular, affected her deeply. These weren’t isolated symptoms, they were signals. But without a diagnosis, it’s easy to dismiss them or feel unsure about what to do next.

Are Pills the only solution for Irregular Periods

One thing she was clear about,  she didn’t want to start taking more medicines without understanding what was happening in her body.

“If doctors give more pills, I didn’t want to take them.”

She tried a few home remedies like halim seeds, which are often suggested for improving iron levels and menstrual flow, but nothing consistent enough to create a noticeable shift.

At this point, she wasn’t looking for a perfect solution, just something she could try without side effects.

Natural treatment for irregular period

That’s when she came across Nari Sondarya Malt on Instagram. She had seen multiple ads, checked reviews, and even asked Team Amrutam directly whether it would work for scanty periods.

Her sister, who lives in Chennai, had also tried it earlier for irregular periods and saw improvement, which gave her more confidence to try it herself.

When she was told it could help, she decided to give it a try.

“I thought I’ll take it for one month. If it works, good. Otherwise, I’ll stop.”

It wasn’t a leap of faith. It was a practical decision, one that many women take when looking for irregular periods treatment naturally.

The shift she noticed

She wasn’t tracking everything, just one thing that mattered most to her: her periods.

And when they came, she noticed the difference immediately. The flow lasted three days and felt normal neither too less nor too much. Her hair fall also reduced and felt more manageable.

“For me, that was enough to feel that it’s working.”

What this didn’t claim to fix

One of the most grounded parts of her experience was her clarity about emotional health.

Priyanka shared that she has been going through personal stress.

“That stress will be there… this won’t fix that,” she said.

And that distinction matters. Not everything is meant to be solved by a product, and she was clear about where this fit into her life, as support for her physical health, not a solution for everything.

She chose to continue using it. Not because of a dramatic transformation, but because something important had shifted.

“I saw some changes… that’s why I ordered again.”

Sometimes, consistency doesn’t come from big promises. It comes from small, noticeable changes that feel real.

When asked how she would describe it to someone else, her response was simple:

“If medicine doesn’t work, this works.”

Priyanka’s story isn’t all solutions solved one, and that’s exactly what makes it relatable. It’s about noticing small changes in your body, even when everything seems “normal.” It’s about trying something without overcommitting, adjusting it to suit your body, and continuing because you see a difference where it matters.

And sometimes, that’s all someone really needs - not a miracle, just a shift in the right direction.
