6 years ago, we bet big on the power of community...

Way before 'community building' became a buzzword, Amrutam took a pledge to bring together Ayurveda enthusiasts all over the world. Without knowing much about how to run a business, we dived deep into doing something we knew best: community building.

Our Journey: 2017 to 2023

2017
The beginning of our online journey.

Rebranding, packaging, and designing our website

Received our first ever order in August 2017 from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh for Orthokey Gold Capsules.

Fun fact: We spent 3 months working on the logo!

2018
Completed our first 100 orders!

Introduced our personal care range on the website.

Began writing blogs, optimized our website, started running Google and Facebook ads and collaborated with influencers.

In 2018, 523 families ordered Kuntal Care Hair Spa, quickly making it our ⭐ product!

2019
The beginning of our flagship 'Flash Sales' :)

Started creating educational content to create awareness.

First attempt to set up an office in a metro city, only to realize remote work suited us way more. Struggled to find the right talent and build a team.

Designed and ran ground-breaking campaigns like #LetsKillTheTaboo, and #KuntalCareHealthyHair.

2020
The year of COVID pandemic.

Our healthcare range picked up with malts becoming the new favorite!

Organized the 21-day Art Project. Launched Amrutam Nari blog series. Collaborated with influencers and creators like Natasha Noel, Masoom Minawala, Shweta Vijay and more!

Received recognition from media houses and publications!

2021
Serving the community.

Launched several community projects and initiatives.

Initiated and launched:
- Amrutam Raga Project, a docu-series featuring 7 local artists from Gwalior Gharana,
- Rediscovering Self with Amrutam, a mental health podcast,
- Informational E-books FREE of cost.

By 2021, we had already shipped to 40+ countries. :)

2022
The year of many firsts.

On explorations, expansion and accomplishments.

Went live on 10+ marketplaces and explored the international markets with Amazon US. Got certified by US-FDA and PETA.

Incubated at IIM NSRCEL's Goldman Sachs' 10K Women and Velocity Program. Selected for Arise Accelerator Program by StrongHer Ventures and WeWork Labs.

The 7th year.
