▪️Processed & packaged foods
These are considered Guru (heavy) and tend to form Ama (toxins). As Ama accumulates, it begins to block the Srotas (micro-channels), the very pathways through which nutrients are transported to your tissues.

 

▪️Excess sugar
It aggravates Kapha dosha, increasing internal sluggishness. This dullness reflects not just in metabolism, but also in hormonal rhythms, often showing up as imbalance over time.

 

 

▪️Deep-fried foods
They place an immediate burden on digestion. The body shifts its focus toward managing this heaviness, leaving little capacity to absorb deeper nourishment.

 

So even if you’re taking the right formulation, your body may not be able to use it fully.


 Food Combinations Matter 

 

Ayurveda doesn’t just look at what you eat - but how you combine it.

 

Common mistakes:

 

  • ▪️Milk + salty or sour foods

  • ▪️Fruits + heavy meals

  • ▪️Cold desserts right after meals

Why this matters:

These combinations create Viruddha Ahara (incompatible foods) leading to toxin formation. Disturbing Rasa and Rakta dhatu (which are essential for hormonal balance).
